Join The Exodus Of Patients That are Leaving their Physio In 2026

Walk in with pain, walk out...?

There is a massive exodus because physio doesn't work

It is a choice many have made:

To walk into a physio with pain and walk out...

1. Feel exactly the same, or

2. Feeling better

We are physios and we promise physio DOESN'T work when:

- They give you an exercise program

- They ask you to sit straight, put a heat pack on, and rest

That's why over 12,000 clients chose to leave their past physio - and they join us:

Because they feel better walking out of our room

Because they feel better knowing someone can actually help

Because they get better results from seeing us, because they got better results in 4 weeks than they got from any of their physios in 4 years.

Clients feel better because we actually treat:

- We treat with our hands

- We treat with technology

- We treat with traditional therapy

The choices are clear, you don't need another exercise sheet -- you need real treatment that makes you feel better - and keeps you better

It is a simple choice many just like you have made.

Next step: Join many like you. Find your clinic and interventional physio

This is what we do

  • The right treatment approach for the right intervention.

  • Hands on treatment. Advanced manual therapy and manupulation techniques for your joint, spine, and muscles

  • Equipment therapy: electrotherapy (IFC, Galvanic, VMS), ultrasound (high and low frequency) therapy, radial shockwave therapy

  • Traditional therapy: acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, scrapping/Gua Sha

  • Most importantly, you will give the treatment appropriate to the stage of recovery you are at.

  • We aren't lecturing you (and there is no point). You know you are overweight, lack of exercise, etc., when you do.

I don't trust physio anymore. They don't work.

We get this a lot.

It is because it really doesn't...

Any physios you see have a formula.

The formula taught in university. Advocated by scholars and researchers. Supported by the general physio community...

They give you:

- An exercise program, often 10+ exercises you'd spend 45 min each day

- Put heat or ice

- Take some panadol and neurofen

- Rest but not too much - keep moving but don't lift too heavy

- Come back in 2 weeks. We will see if we need to change some of the exercises

And of course, when you pay at the counter, you realise:

- My pain is still there

- The physio didn't even feel my body, they just talked

- How would they know what's wrong with me

And two weeks later... Your pain is still there. I don't mind paying, but this doesn't work. Let's cancel the appointment

This will never work, until they found us.

Who It’s For

  • Have a painful condition/ multiple painful areas that have been there for between 2 months and more than 10 years

  • For those who are frustrated with their previous treatment

  • Give up hope on physio or treatment as a whole

  • Genuinely wants someone who can actually help

  • Have had surgery, but didn't get the results you wanted

  • Recovering from a work injury, recent or over 10 years ago

  • Recovering from a sports injury, recent or over 10 years ago

Interventions that will help you

Frequently Asked Questions

So how does it work?

In a nutshell, you will book in with one of our interventional physiotherapist.

On the first visit, you can expect our interventional physiotherapists

1. assess and learn about your condition

2. treatment, treatment, treatment

3. right of the bat, treatment will be given on the first visit.

4. They will be treatment appropriate to your condition at the stage of recovery

5. Be prepared you can expect more than one treatment approach to be recommended and given if they are appropriate to be used together

You will understand you condition and the recovery timeframe. You will also be informed about the level of recovery that we are working towards

It is reasonable to expect some condition we can bring back to 100%, but some we can't.

This is the conversation you are going to have with our interventional physio. To answer the questions what is the reasonable expectation, how long will it take, what treatment will be required and what is the plan at each stage of recovery.

How quickly can I get results?

Often immediately.

Of course it depends on the conditions. Over 80% of our clients feel immediate relieve of their symptoms walking of of our treatment rooms.

Overall recovery timeframe does vary. However, our goals is to show noticeable changes in symptoms within 2 weeks and functional changes within the first 6-12 weeks.

Some client stops their visit at this stage. And it is absolutely acceptable. You should feel that you can do the things you need or love without much issues. Almost returning to pre-injury/flare up level now.

After this, it is about injury prevention and getting to the "root cause" of the issue. We refer this to stage 3 and 4 recovery. It is about how we can reduce the risk of flare up or reinjury in the future.

Let say you have a had a lower back pain for 20 years. We can admit that we can't 100% cure it in just 6-12 weeks.

So, what we do is we spend time and effort in stage 3 and 4 to reduce the frequency of flare up (say every half year from every month), level of pain each flare up (say self manageable pain from debilitating 10/10 pain) and ease of flare up (just bending down VS after painting the whole house in a weekend).

I would say roughly 50% of our clients continue on their journey to stage 3 and 4.

The rest would have a very good run until their next flare up. And then we fix them up so they can function again.

Do I need to have a poor experience with past physio to join you?

No. Although it is common to that client see us for help after many rounds of failed treatment, we do see a number of conditions that they never seen anyone before.

Either ways, clients tends to stay with us because they can see better results

Can I bring someone with me to the appointemnt?

Yes! We encourage you bring along you loved ones or someone you trust.

One they become your moral support (who likes to see a doctor let alone physio), but it also help us touching more lives, showcasing what we can do to help.

Often times we end up seeing all your siblings and cousins because they see the results!

How many times do I need to see you

Not going to lie, it is a process that you and our physio go through together.

It will depends on the goals that you set with your interventional physio.

For common conditions, like chronic lower back pain, it is often we see immediate symptoms relieve (but we are physios we like to talk conservatively, so say it takes up to 2 weeks to see noticeable changes in symptoms). Clients would feel improvement in pain. They can do more in the daily life. Pain is less irritable and not as easily aggravated.

Some client will stop treatment at this stage. Roughly after 4 -5 sessions.

The rest would have a very good run until their next flare up. And then we fix them up so they can function again.

Will this work for [my specific problem]?

Our team of interventional physio treats painful musculoskeletal problems from headaches to hands issues, back pain, plantar fasciitis and anything in between.

Our interventional physios are supported by senior staff, who treats and manages complex presentations, such as multi-area, widespread pain pattern, complex region pain syndrome and fibromyalgia.

If you are in doubt if we can help you, we encourage you to start a conversation with our senior physio by clicking on the live chat button. We will understand your conditions and point you to the right direction.

What if I’m already seeing a physio/chiro/doctor/specialist?

Great! That means you are serious about your health and recovery. And clearly you are hitting a bottleneck that’s why you are reading this.

This is exactly our expertise. Clients move away from their past physiotherapist to us because they don’t see the outcome they expected.

What is the difference between an interventional physio and a physio

A general physio focuses on rehabilitation and exercise prescription. Generally little or no hands on or equipment therapy will be provided as part of an appointment.

Interventional physio emphasises on treatments. We provide outcome focused therapy which aim to reduce pain, improve range of movement and function. We provide hands on therapy along with equipment and technologies. You can expect symptoms reduces quicker and return to work/sport/things you love faster.

Do I need a GP referral to see a physio at Lion Rocker Health?

Definitely not! Our Physiotherapists are highly trained first-contact practitioners and can see you without a referral from the GP. Just book an initial appointment, and we can discuss your concern at your appointment.

Our Physiotherapists also can also see clients who have been referred by the GP or specialist, whether on a plan or not (for example, EPC, DVA, Workcover).

What other funding do you accept?

At Lion Rocker Health, we treatment client from a range of funding bodies including WorkCover, Motor Vehicle Accident, NDIS, Home care Packages, Cooperates referrals, and DVAs

We also accept all private health insurance and Medicare clients.
